This policy explains how the Jigyaasa Teacher Corner Android app
(com.ispf.jigyaasa.teachercorner, the "app"), operated by the Innovation and Science
Promotion Foundation (ISPF) as part of Project Jigyaasa, collects and uses information. The app is
intended for teachers participating in the programme.
Information we collect

| Device identifiers (incl. push token) | To deliver activity reminders and for aggregate analytics. |
We do not collect your location. We do not knowingly collect financial, health, contacts, calendar, or message data.
How we use your information
- To provide the app: sign-in, your classrooms, learning-unit activities, and submissions.
- To send activity reminders and notifications.
- To understand aggregate usage and improve the app.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. We use trusted service providers strictly to operate the app on our behalf, including Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, cloud messaging), Google Analytics for Firebase, and an SMS gateway to deliver one-time passwords. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service.
Security
All data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. See our Data Deletion page or email tech@thinktac.com. Requests are actioned within 30 days. We may retain de-identified, aggregate analytics and records required for legal or programme-reporting obligations.
Children
The app is designed for adult teachers (18+) and is not directed to children. Photos or videos that teachers upload as activity evidence may depict students; teachers are responsible for obtaining any consent required under their school's and the programme's policies before uploading such media.
Your choices
- Providing an email address is optional.
- You can turn off push notifications in the app's Profile settings.
- You can request access to or deletion of your data (see above).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
